Mark Kooistra

Biography:

My name is Mark Kooistra.  I have lived in Sheboygan for 40 years. I have four adult children who along with their spouses and my 8 grandchildren also reside in Sheboygan.

I am running for Alderman of the 5^th District in Sheboygan.  I am semi-retired but before that held the position of Plant Manager for 33 years at a local factory.

I feel that with my experience working with employees in a 24-hour 7 day a week environment and all that goes along with these responsibilities I could be an asset to the council.  My experience with multi-tasking, problem solving and working with a diverse group of individuals gives me a variety of knowledge in many situations.

I would like to serve in this position and would do my best to represent the future and Great people of Sheboygan.
